Quelques influences artistiques / Some artistic influences

Sandro Botticelli, Gustav Klimt, Antonio Vargas, Tamara de Lempicka, Ousmane Sow, Alfons Mucha, Edouard Manet…quelques uns de mes livres d’art ouverts à des pages choisies. Quelques représentations de l’humain dans l’art qui donne, à mon avis, le sens de la Beauté. Par exemple, Antonio Vargas qui représente si bien la puissance et l’attractivité de la femme, une femme que l’on a envie de voir, de toucher. Ousmane Sow, dont les personnages faits de terre et d’argile nous apparaissent si réels, une belle représentation de l’énergie de Gaïa. Bien sur j’aurais pu choisir encore d’autres oeuvres, d’autres livres mais je n’ai pas dit mon dernier mot….à suivre !

Some representations of the human in art gives, in my opinion, the meaning of Beauty. For example, Antonio Vargas representing so well the power and appeal of the woman, a woman that we want to see, touch. Ousmane Sow, whose characters made of clay we appear so real, a beautiful representation of the energy of Gaia. Of course I could still choose other works, other books but I have not said my last word …. to be continued !
